I have always been a fan of simply blending frozen banana to make healthy ice cream. In this recipe, I experimented in naughtiness by adding light coconut milk and coating in chocolate. An easier version would be to simple drizzle the chocolate over the top but I wanted an excuse to use my sphere ice cube moulds.

Serves – 2
Prep time – 10 mins
Freeze time – 1-2 hours for ice cream and chocolate to set


3 frozen bananas
100ml coconut milk (light)
200g chocolate (melted)


  1. Throw your frozen bananas and coconut milk into a food processor and blend.
  2. Shape your frozen mix into ball shape (I used ice sphere mould)
  3. Melt your chocolate and pour on top.
  4. Return to the freezer for the chocolate to set.
